So, we met up with Michelle and Austin Criswell for their anniversary session recently!! When you book your wedding with us we always say that first and foremost, we value our relationships with clients over everything else. Of course we will deliver beautiful photos and videos, we’ll provide you with endless guides so that you feel comfortable preparing for whatever session you’ve booked, but most importantly, we want to get to know you more and truly become friends for life. Our memories or major life moments are such an important thing.
Reflecting on their wedding and beyond!
Reflecting on their wedding was so nostaligic for us both. For Trevor and I, this was our first wedding doing both photo and video! Can you believe that this was only one year ago now? Their wedding day started bright and early with each in their own respective bride and groom suites. They spent the morning clinking glasses with friends in celebration for the festivities and important moments that lie ahead. As the venue was decorated with rustic charm—elements like deer antlers and beautifully made silk flowers—Michelle was prepping her hair and make-up with her bridesmaids. Later, she slipped into a stunning gown from David’s Bridal while Austin threw on some jeans and his suit jacket. You can read more about their story and see their wedding here.
Some of our favorite wedding day moments incuded: The ceremony with traditional vows, exchanging of the rings, and finally with an intimate first kiss where Austin embraced Michelle and finally could call her his wife. Michelle & Austin also made their grand entrance into the barn on the property at Willow Creek with huge smiles, cowboy boots, and country music filling the room as guests ate delicious food made by family, danced the night away, and celebrated with friends. Their reception included Michelle & Austin’s epic cake smash moments, their romantic first dance together, the fight for the bouquet, and the run from the garter.
