We're Trevor & Danyell--Northern Indiana's Wedding and Family Photography & Videography team. We focus on documenting your joyful, authentic, and timeless memories.
It was a gorgeous summer day with the most perfect weather in Indianapolis, Indiana, where Juliana & Lewis prepped at a personal residence with their closest friends and family for their big day. After getting dressed to the nines, sharing an intimate first look with Juliana and her father, they all headed off to St. Anthony’s Church for a Catholic ceremony combining their Spanish and Vietnamese cultures. Afterwards, they enjoyed an amazing reception at Rick’s Cafe Boatyard where they toasted to heart-felt speeches, delicious food and cake, all themed with elements from Game of Thrones. Finally finishing off the night with a wildly dance-filled reception and tons of laughter and joy with friends and both families—this was Juliana & Lewis’ special day.
It started with a proposal in Las Vegas.
During the course of working with us, we typically send at least two questionnaires to all of our couples. The initial questionnaire gives us a chance to learn a little bit more about you, and then second questionnaire goes into even more detail about your wedding day plans. On of our favorite questions that we ask is: “Tell us the story of your love! How did you meet? What was the proposal like? etc.” Hearing about people’s love stories is so inspiring. It gives us a glimpse into their lives apart and coming together. For Juliana & Lewis they answered with “We meet in college. We started hanging out outside campus and we finally started dating after a year of being friends.”
They went on to tell us about how Lewis proposed in Las Vegas. They were there for an anniversary vacation when he surprised Juliana and decided to finally pop the question. Shortly after, they started the planning of their Game of Thrones themed wedding. It would be filled with colors like gold, blush & dusty pink, as well as, rosewood.
Finally combining the houses.
If you’re a Game of Thrones nerd (like us) then you’ll know that there are a multitude of important houses within the show that really make the fight for the throne worth while. In the Game of Thrones show, combining important and prominent houses with marriage creates alliances and greater power between some. Juliana & Lewis come from different backgrounds but are finally combining their houses in their epic love story.
Their wedding reception was filled with themed elements from Game of Thrones like cake pops shaped like Dragon eggs, a cake topper that read “moon of my life my sun and stars” which is a quote by Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen, table centerpieces with sparkling dragons eggs, taper candles in golden candle holders, and table cards with House names.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Duong!

It was such a beautiful wedding day, and I am so very thankful that I got to be a part of memorializing your love for one another. We truly enjoyed being your wedding videographer.
