We're Trevor & Danyell--Northern Indiana's Wedding and Family Photography & Videography team. We focus on documenting your joyful, authentic, and timeless memories.
It started as an overcast spring morning and turned into the sunniest warm day with the most perfect weather at Daniel’s Vineyard in McCordsville, Indiana, where Megan & Chris prepped in their private rooms with their closest friends and family for their wedding day filled with a bright outdoor wedding, heartfelt speeches, the sweetest cheesecakes in this beautiful vineyard and finishing off the night with a blood pumping, dance-filled reception and sparkler send off—this was Megan & Chris’s special day.
Lovers from states apart.
Megan & Chris happened to find each other while both living in Colorado. Megan told us, “We both got moved to Denver through work, and became friends from there.” Even during her vows to Chris, Megan spoke about the first time they met. She had planned to take a picture of the beautiful view while they were out to lunch with their work crew when Chris leaned back in his chair to make a joke about him actually being the beautiful one. Megan in that moment thought “who does this guy think he is?” But little did she know he would soon be her husband.
After a while, they both realized that they had a crush. And even though they both knew that Chris was moving back to Indianapolis soon, they decided to try it out anyways. Growing their relationship and continuing on with long distance, Megan & Chris were desperate to make their love work. Thankfully, what felt like a miracle happened–about 6 months after Chris moved back, Megan got the opportunity to move to Indianapolis, as well!
A romantic proposal at the Parthenon!
For Chris’s proposal to Megan, he knew how much she loved the history of Greece and Rome. While their future travels may hope to bring them there some day, Chris instead took Megan to Nashville (definitely still a destination travel location for the two of them). Megan told us that they went to Nashville to see one of Chris’s favorite bands play, or at least that’s what she thought at the time. The next day he took Megan to the Parthenon, which is an exact replica of the one in Greece. Megan recalled the proposal like this, “When walking outside of it, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him!”
