A small intimate wedding ceremony focused on family and friends at France Park in Logansport, Indiana which included the most adorable first look moments, special vows and letters read to each other, and all as the sun set over the beautiful waterfall—this was Emily & Tyler’s special day.
They’re finally married!!
When I asked Emily before their wedding what she was most excited about she said, “Finally being married and having our friends and family around!” What a perfect answer. Emily & Tyler booked with us a little last minute because given the current circumstances in the world they decided they wanted to capture their big day with video. This video, as well as all of the Raw footage, will be something that they can share with others, provide to those that could not attend, and look back on for years and years.
Five years ago Emily & Tyler met during a church small group held at Emily’s house. They started going on little bowling dates and eventually started officially going steady! Tyler proposed April 4, 2019 on the same date as one of their dogs’ birthday. They were at at Climb Time Indy, and while Emily was rock climbing up high Tyler had the employees working there throw down some lights. They then began playing Emily & Tyler’s special song and Tyler proposed!
They had to have their family, friends, and of course, their dogs there.
Emily & Tyler’s sunset elopement started with a first look between Emily and her dad. She was able to show off her dress from Blue House Bridal and her special hair pin that is her grandma’s that was given to her by her husband, Emily’s grandpa, on their first anniversary. After their first look, Emily & Tyler shared a first look on the cliff ledge by the crystal clear water of a long ago abandoned stone quarry. Tyler waited patiently (mostly) as Emily slowly approached, tapped his shoulder, and he turned around to view his soon-to-be wife. They had written their own vows and read them to each other at this time.
After these intimate moments, Emily & Tyler started their ceremony at the France Park waterfalls. Their colors were white and taupe featuring accents of dark blue included in their floral arrangements by Everlasting Arrangements. Their dogs attended and watched the entire event with their closest friends and family, as well as those on Facetime calls and virtually attending.
After their small ceremony, they took pictures, had pizza, and cut a cake. After bunches of smiles and laughter Emily & Tyler ended the night with a sparkler send off before jumping in the car to head off for their honeymoon at the Gulf Shores of Alabama! It is a family vacation spot for them by the beach where they can relax, enjoy each other’s company, and take in the first few days of married life.
