At LVP Studios we offer photography, videography, and package bundles to all of our couples who are getting married. We often book weddings for simply just videography, and when we do we still like to take the time to do an engagement session if possible. Jessica & Scott booked with us for their wedding as video only, but we still wanted to take the time to get to know them better before their big day. So, we teamed up with their photographer during their engagement session in order to make a video about their love story that they can cherish for a lifetime.
We met Jessica & Scott at Daniel’s Vineyard in McCordsville, Indiana on a gorgeous fall evening between the rows of vines where Jessica works. Jessica is the event coordinator at Daniel’s Vineyard and has become a good friend of ours through many Zoom calls and virtual chats. While we had seemed to have talked a lot virtually, this was a great opportunity for me to get to know them a bit more and finally say hello to both of them in person.
Some like to say their eyes met and the rest was history!
During our time together, we asked Jessica & Scott how they met, and they told us “we met at a restaurant–some like to say their eyes met and the rest was history.” They joked about how Scott had originally pulled a prank on Jessica during one of her first days there. Apparently, Jessica had asked Scott where the mayo was and he facetiously responded asking whether she meant burger or tenderloin mayo. This sent Jessica on a wild goose chase in order to figure out what she needed, but once she realized she’d been played a prank on she went back to give Scott a hard time.
Later, they got engaged while on vacation in Mexico. Scott’s daughter truly encouraged it and wanted nothing but for them to get engaged. Scott had shown his daughter the ring, and after that all she wanted was for her dad to ask Jessica’s hand in marriage. He proposed privately in their hotel room, and according to Jessica, “it was perfect.”
Stay tuned for Jessica and Scott’s September 2021 wedding!!
A late summer wedding is the perfect time for these two to get married. We love the idea of their plans for a fall bohemian/rustic wedding theme with colors like champagne and nude, mauve, taupe, rust, and sage greens. We will be photographing and videoing their special day. We know that these two are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their “I Do’s”
Congratulations to the soon to be Mr. and Mrs! We hope you love this engagement video about your love story.
