This is Skylar. You may have noticed his adorable face on our blog before because we’ve documented special moments in his life a few times now–his 6 month photos for him with his family and his one year old cake smash session that was full of color and a cake smash. And now, here’s his two year old birthday session themed around all of his favorite things: trains, tractors, and tents!!

Besides the props that Skylar and his family brought in you may notice that we like to keep our sessions as clean and minimal as possible. We lean towards using our plain white or black backdrop almost every time we’re in the studio. This is because we believe that your photos should be captured authentically, with you and your little ones as the center-piece. But most importantly, we believe that your photos should be timeless and using clean and minimal aesthetics does just that.

Milestone sessions are all about documenting the moments as your baby grows during their first year. You can schedule sessions for fresh 48, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and one year! Commemorating these important milestones with beautiful pictures (and even amazing video) is something that you will cherish for a lifetime. Our favorite part about being photographers and videographers is capturing precious moments and memories like these. We love that we can create relationships that bring life long clients so that we can watch them grow. It’s such a humbling thing to be a part of and an exciting thing for us to continue to document for your families.
