A beautifully cold day when the leaves were still showing their gorgeous colors at The Allure in LaPorte, Indiana, where Danielle & John prepped in their private rooms with their closest friends and family for their big day filled with a heartwarming wedding, delicious food and cake in the stunning hall with plenty of hugs and greetings and even more tears of laughter and joy, and finally finishing off the night with dance-til-the-sun-don’t-shine type of reception—this was Danielle & John’s special day.
Danielle & John booked us for a 4-hour package. We love working with couples whenever they can, and even though 4 hours is not an ideal time frame and is not something we openly offer, we will willingly work with anyone to ensure that we can capture your special moments within your timeframe. Being that 4 hours only gives us a short window, we worked closely with Danielle to ensure that her timeline was perfect for us so that we could capture most of the important moments. While you may notice some slight differences in the way the final highlight film is put together, we hope that the day is truly captured. It’s still astonishing to us how many amazing memories we can capture in just a short amount of time.
They started as Tinder dates.
We got a chance to get to know Danielle a bit before their big day over coffee, but unfortuantely, John could not attend. This wasn’t a concern though because we always send a questionnaire to all of our brides and grooms to answer. This allows us to get to know you a little more with some fun questions. One of the questions we always ask is, how did you meet?
They responded and said, “We met online on Tinder. We talked for a few weeks and then starting going out on dates every week.” And then the rest was history.
A surprise Easter proposal.
After some time dating and really getting to know each other, John decided it was time to ask Danielle to spend forever with him and be his wife. He proposed on Easter in front of her family. According to Danielle, “My mom helped him to set up an Easter egg hunt for everyone. In one of the eggs was one of my moms old rings. When I opened this egg he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.”
Their proposal story sounds so dreamy, and we can imagine the butterflies between the two of them. Danielle also told us that she was clueless to the entire situation and had no idea what was going on! It was a perfect proposal that led to an even more perfect wedding.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Conway!
