The Binkley family was beautiful. I loved getting to know everyone on this wonderful evening at the Tippecanoe River State Park in Winamac, Indiana. Raelyn (mom) told me that she doesn’t typically purchase school pictures. It is a tradition of theirs’ to hire a photographer every year for amazing pictures that better capture the personality of all of her children, and I was honored that LVP Studios was chosen to be their photographer this year.

We started the session with the typical group shots of the whole family. I was amazed at how prepared they seemed to be, but I suppose that happens when your family takes pictures of this kind essentially every year. The older boys were so helpful with the two younger kids, but the kids also did surprisingly well! There was a moment when I asked the younger kids to take a photo together, and without hesitation, the boy wrapped his arms around his sister hugging her in the cutest way ever (without even being told, *swoon*).

Taking some more headshot style photos was also part of their session. Because they don’t do school pictures, this was the chance for Raelyn to get those great photos that she can hang on her wall. We did individuals with each of the kids, as well as, one on one moments with each of them and mom. It was a blast.

Lastly, we ended the session with tons of candid moments. Since this crew is so amazing at taking pictures together (I mean, really, they totally have it down) we were able to play around for awhile and capture some candid pictures. These are going to be some of Raelyn’s favorites, I just know it, because it truly shows the personality of each of her kids in this current moment.
