Macy and her pup joined us for a session at the Tippecanoe River State Park. Taking pictures with dogs is sooo fun and requires a bit of patience, but when you get amazing and adorable shots like this we just can’t help ourselves but encourage everyone to bring their dog along. The connection between an owner and their pet is just as strong as family and they deserve to be documented too.
We’re always down for pictures with your fur babies
Macy had previously booked us for a family session that fell through, but we always do our best to make the most of sessions even if plans don’t happen the way everyone intended. When we offered to reschedule, Macy instead decided that this was the perfect opportunity to get pictures of her and her gorgeous great dane baby.
We love our fur babies and know how important they are to others. We encourage clients when they ask to feel free to bring all the dogs, and wrangle up your cats (if possible), lizards?, rabbits?, sure! If you plan to bring your pets though please let us know ahead of time. Also, we would prefer if you could bring a friend or someone to take the pet when we want some shots without them (which Macy did by bringing her mom along for behind the scenes stuff).
Wintery sessions mean cozy moments!
As the weather gets colder, the leaves have fallen, and the snow fall is right around the corner this means we focus more on you, your loved ones (family or pups) for a cozy winter session. And to just top it all off, Macy wore the perfect cold weather outfit to compliment the cold weather vibes and look of the session.
If you are looking to schedule a session with LVP Studios, we recommend finding outfits that are neutral. When styling a family or group or couple, we recommend you try to coordinate but not match. Choose two main colors to centralize around, but don’t all wear the same thing. Stay away from green clothing for any outdoor sessions. Also, think about dressing in layers so that we can play with those textures and get different shots with layers on and off. Dressing simple is key, and mixing some minimal prints with solids ensures that your outfits have interest but look normal and natural. We prefer when the photos and videos are all about you and not about what you’re wearing. But, no matter the session, you should feel comfortable and confident.
