When I first met with Jeffra & Jared for coffee (before they had even booked their wedding with us) I could instantly feel the connection they both shared. Not only were they comfortable and confident with each other, but they seemed to work so well together like peanut butter and jelly. To be honest, I talked with them for over an hour. Not because we needed to, not because they necessarily had a ton of questions, but because we were just having such a great time chatting, getting to know one another, and talking about their relationship.
Jeffra & Jared will be getting married next summer at Jeffra’s parents house in the back yard. We will be doing photos and video at their rustic country themed wedding in July and can’t wait for their big day! In the meantime, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to really get to know one another by doing some late fall engagement photos at Fairfield Lakes Park in Lafayette, Indiana.
They were all hiding in a horse stall.
Hearing about people’s love stories in one of my favorite parts of the job. At LVP Studios, we strive to truly make a sincere connection with each and every one of our couples that we work with. We pride ourselves in not just creating a stunning product that our couples will love for years to come, but also creating a lasting friendship so that we can continue to capture those important milestones even after the wedding date.
When we asked Jeffra about her and Jared’s love story she said, “We knew each other from high school.” They had went to same school, but were just 4 years apart. A couple years ago, they got each other’s snapchat and just talked as friends. Jeffra said then “11 months ago we got serious and started talking.” They officially started calling it “dating” in January of 2020.
Just 6 months after they had officially started dating, Jared knew that Jeffra was the one. After getting her parents’ blessing (and avoiding a few spoilers along the way), Jared proposed on Jeffra’s parents land in their old horse barn. They were walking around taking pictures when they decided to cut through the barn to the other side. Little did Jeffra know that her family and his family were all hiding in a horse stall. Her middle sister was actually the one taking their 6 months photos and had them walk through the barn. That’s when it all happened! According to Jeffra, “it was the most perfect proposal ever!”
Stay tuned for Jeffra and Jared’s July 2021 Wedding!!
A warm summer wedding is the perfect time for these two to get married. We love the idea of their rustic country with colors like sage green and dusty blue. They just want to be laid back and want to have a good time, and we love that! We will be photographing and video recording their special day. We know that these two are counting the days that their family and friends can all get together while they finally say their “I Do’s”
