Our favorite season to take pictures is definitely fall (as I’m sure meany of you can agree with). And one of our favorite spots is France Park in Logansport, Indiana! We love the beach vibes, the colors of all of the trees in the backgrounds, as well as, climbing up a trail to take pictures right at the edge of the clips. But no matter where we take your pictures, it’s always about the smiles, laughter, and love that we can capture of you and your loved ones. Haley & Trent made this part easy with plenty of giggles, cute snuggly moments, and sweet kisses.
The proposal she had been waiting for.
Haley had already picked out her ring and knew the time was coming. We can totally relate—I (Danyell) had picked out my ring too. Trevor took us to a jewelry store to simply “try on” some rings “for fun” while he was secretly taking not of everything that I liked and wanted. This is becoming more and more common, and most future brides that I speak with have actually picked out their engagement ring. I mean, it makes sense, we’re the ones that are going to have to be wearing it.
Trent knew that Haley obviously knew, but still wanted to keep it somewhat of a secret surprise. After receiving the ring, he thought of a plan to ask her. According to Haley, “when he propsed he told me we were going for a four-wheeler ride with my parents.” Then they stopped at a bridge to take a picture. This was apparently not uncommon or anything out the blue because Haley mentioned that they had actually taken a picture here before. But this time was actually different!! He got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. That’s when Trent asked Haley to marry him, to be his wife, to be his partner forever.
Fall leaves, puppies, and a loving engagement session.
Haley & Trent’s engagement session took place at France Park in Logansport, Indiana. They had brought along their two doggo’s—Tank and Charlie. We love our fur babies and know how important they are to others. We encourage clients when they ask to feel free to bring all the dogs, and wrangle up your cats (if possible), lizards?, rabbits?, sure! If you plan to bring your pets though please let us know ahead of time. Also, we would prefer if you could bring a friend or someone to take the pet when we want some shots without them (which Haley & Trent did).
The time in which we took these engagement pictures was seriously perfection. The leaves had just started to change and the mixture of colors in the background really made for a cozy fall session. And to just top it all off, Haley wore the perfect fall outfits to compliment the colors and the vibe of the session.
If you are looking to schedule a session with LVP Studios, we recommend finding outfits that are neutral. When styling a family or group or couple, we recommend you try to coordinate but not match. Choose two main colors to centralize around, but don’t all wear the same thing. Stay away from green clothing for any outdoor sessions. Also, think about dressing in layers so that we can play with those textures and get different shots with layers on and off. Dressing simple is key, and mixing some minimal prints with solids ensures that your outfits have interest but look normal and natural. We prefer when the photos and videos are all about you and not about what you’re wearing. But, no matter the session, you should feel comfortable and confident.
