These girls have my heart. When family comes to the studio it means I will indubitably gush over these photos forever. The Kasten girls came by my studio for a quick session for Lilly’s first birthday. She played with necklaces, smiled for the camera, and smashed her face in a cake.

One thing I always tell parents to on-the-go toddlers is that our sessions are meant to be zero stress. We don’t stress too much about forcing them to sit, pose pretty, or participate with certain props. Our mindset is to simply flow with how the little one wants. For Lillian, this meant letting her crawl around, chew on beaded necklaces, and play with her sisters, all while snapping pictures during the in-between moments and trying to capture all of his wonderful facial expressions.

Milestone sessions are all about documenting the moments as your baby grows during their first year. You can schedule sessions for fresh 48, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and one year! Commemorating these important milestones with beautiful pictures (and even amazing video) is something that you will cherish for a lifetime. These sessions can often be called sitter sessions, monthly sessions, or so much more. But we prefer to call them milestone sessions because they encapsulate those important milestones that you child is hitting throughout his/her growth. We love when we can keep things clean and simple, and strive for minimal milestone photos at The LVP Studio in Northern Indiana.
